Merry Christmas, Newtown Connecticut

Merry Christmas, Newtown Connecticut.
Love Must Conquer Evil.

Like the entire country, I've struggled with the utterly tragic loss of innocence in Newton, Connecticut. It's as if this single act of terror has stripped us of the wonder of childhood itself and torn at the safety of the fabric of our families.  As parents, as humans, we must stay strong and nurture our children while educating them and preparing them for the world outside of our homes.  A daunting task for sure now that the world seems to have been permanently scarred.

Merry Christmas, Newtown Connecticut.
Faith And Hope Cannot Be Defeated.

Our family wishes you the best in what should be a joyous season.
Please know that we are thinking of you and praying for you.  We are positive that our friends and relatives are thinking of you as well.  As a matter of fact, we're confident that the entire world is thinking of you.

Your town, your school, your families and especially your children will NEVER be forgotten.
You are all forever in our hearts and our minds.
You are us.
And we are you.

May God watch over those who were taken from this earth,
as well as those that remain.
As challenging as it may be, don't let this event define your town.
Let Love define your town.
Let Hope define your town.
Let Peace define your town.

Merry Christmas, Newtown Connecticut.
Peace on Earth.  Good Will Toward Men.
